The Addiction Management in Primary Care programme provides education and training to all GP members and GP Trainees on issues related to substance misuse and associated health problems. This programme is a collaboration with other agencies, eg National Guidelines Development Group, to provide best practice guidelines for the management of substance misuse in primary care.
