Gender & Health Outcomes Course

The College is delighted to offer Gender & Health Outcomes education primarily aimed at GPs and GP Trainees, and also open to nurses and other healthcare professionals. The updated curriculum will address the latest evidence base to ensure that patient care is based on the most up-to-date clinical guidelines.

Topics include:

  • Endometriosis
  • Gender sensitivity & mental health
  • Urinary Incontinence
  • Gender differences in cardiovascular disease
  • A patient experience interview
  • Gender Inequality

Course Format & Duration

The course is an on-demand course which is accessible at your own convenience. It is delivered via self-access video presentations from subject matter experts, with end of course MCQs.

The duration is 2.5 hours approximately for all videos and MCQs.

Course Access

Access to the on-demand course is available to ICGP Members, Professional Competence Scheme (PCS) enrolees, GP Trainees and other healthcare professionals (*must be registered with a professional body and be an active practitioner).
